Field Upgrades

Over 10 tons of new rubber was recently added to the turf field.  Along with a professional grooming of the surface this will insure that we have a softer and safer playing surface going forward.  Thank you to Harford County Parks and Rec for completing this project.

Approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of new sod was recently added to Fields 1-2-8-9.  Worn areas around the goals and through the center of each field were cut out and replaced with new sod.  A great job done by Aldino Sod Farm.  Field 13, which was closed for the majority of the fall also received another over seeding and was  covered with mushroom soil to keep the field surface warm and allow for growth during the winter.  The mushroom soil will also help level the playing surface.

Going forward Fields 1-2-13 and the small sided areas of Fields 8-9 will only be used for selected and limited games.  This with the expanded use of Carsins Run will insure that games are always played on quality surfaces.
